Fuel to the Fire

Saturday the Embajadores de Cristo team (District youth department staff) went to a youth activity called Express Your Faith in Chalatenango.  It was an activity that brought together different churches in the area and Ruben was asked to preach.  It was the first time he had preached since the attack and he didn't go into much detail, as the sermon was focused on another topic, but he did take some time to share what had happened and how he lost his eye.  Ruben had a gift of speaking prior to the accident but now he is even more anointed.  God used him before but because of what the devil tried to do it has just added more fuel to the fire.  We are both seeking God's face even more and because of that we know we are going to see God do great things.    Many young people were touched by God and not because Ruben is such a great speaker but because of the Holy Spirit and because we have decided that his attack will not be an obstacle but an opportunity.

Psalms 90:12 "Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom."
